Scorchers Drummer Perry Bags, Dead At 50

NASHVILLE, TN (CelebrityAccess MediaWire) — Perry Baggs, drummer for the iconic cowpunk band Jason & The Scorchers, was found dead at his home in Goodlettsville, Tenn. He was 50 at the time of his death.
While the cause of his death was not revealed, Baggs developed severe diabetes while on tour with the band in 1990, shortly before the group went on hiatus.
Baggs rejoined the band for their 1993 reunion tour and the band reuinited again in 2007 for a pair of benefit shows to benefit Baggs.
