Last week, Bobby Lashley‘s tenure in WWE officially came to an end. The veteran’s contract expired, and reports suggested that he was leaving the company. Following his departure, online speculation has arisen as to what could be next for Lashley. Having said that, the former WWE Champion has teased his fans about his potential next venture.

The Almighty took to his Instagram account to share footage of him seemingly preparing for an upcoming boxing return. Previously, Lashley revealed that he had a boxing bout on the cards once his deal ran out. Of course, the 48-year-old does have an impressive background in MMA, having remained undefeated in Bellator MMA. At the moment, there is no information in regards to who he could be facing next.

In addition to boxing, Lashley has garnered interest from several wrestling companies around the world. At the moment, it seems likely that the former Intercontinental Champion will be joining AEW. Moreover, the powerhouse could reunite The Hurt Business alongside MVP and Shelton Benjamin, who are both free agents as well. 

Over the past few months, MVP has been openly vocal about his frustrations with WWE’s booking and handling of the faction. Criticizing both Triple H and Vince McMahon, he revealed that pitches for a reunion were shot down under both regimes. As for Bobby Lashley, he hasn’t replicated the success he found under McMahon during the HHH era. Therefore, it doesn’t come as a surprise that the Colorado native declined to extend his WWE contract.

Bobby Lashley will soon disclose his future plans following his WWE departure. However, his latest tease had fans clamoring for him to compete in boxing. After watching the clip, the WWE Universe felt that Triple H and WWE “fumbled” by mistreating the 48-year-old star.
